In an age when the ski industry is becoming increasingly consolidated and homogenized, more skiers are looking for the backcountry alternative. Our private backcountry ski area is located in Pittsfield less that 5 miles from the Killington Ski area. We do not have ski lifts, snow making, ski patrol, groomed trails, or marked hazards. The terrain is mostly advanced to moderate terrain with drops, narrow steep chutes and narrow gladed runs. There are many hidden hazards under the snow pack to include logs, stumps, holes, cliffs and waterfall ice. If you ski too aggressively here you will most likely break yourself. This is not an area for beginners or intermediate skiers.

The ski area is not open to the public, however we do allow experienced backcountry skiers access at no cost based on a ski assessment and a signed liability waiver. (Ski at your own risk) The best way to explore this area is to hire a guide. Skiing and hiking are not allowed with out permission from the land owner.
